GABRIELA CÁRDENAS

Hi! I am Gabriela Cardenas.

I am based in Costa Rica and I am an Industrial Design Engineer. Additionally, I have technical degrees in Web Design and Graphic Design.

During the pandemic, I decided to obtain certifications in User Experience and User Interface.

​

I have 8 years of experience working as a User Interface and Web Designer at a company called Samtec, which specializes in manufacturing connectors and technology parts. I previously worked on their website, which functions as both an e-commerce platform and an informational site. I designed parts of the website and then implemented the HTML, CSS, and SASS components using Zurb Foundation, which is similar to Bootstrap. I collaborated with developers to ensure the designs had full functionality.

For the past year and a half, I have been working as a UX/UI designer for Cargill, a global food company. This experience has allowed me to learn a great deal and gain valuable expertise in the field of UX.
